SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOUR GRIEF JOURNEY
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives, but your grief continues and you feel alone. Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring Facilitators, who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
We, the Facilitators, are especially excited by the recently revised GriefShare program with new videos and a new workbook. In addition to the regular GriefShare Sessions, we will have two additional sessions for "Surviving the Holidays" on November 18th and a "Blue Christmas" Service, date to be determined. Collectively, we have over twenty years of facilitating this GriefShare Ministry at Aldan Union Church and we know that one of the key factors for healing from the loss of a loved one, is developing your personal relationship with God. We humbly invite you to attend and feel free to express your emotions, whatever they are.

Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content
Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.

Our Griefshare group meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month (October 5, 2024 through April 5, 2025) from 1 - 3 PM.
All sessions are IN PERSON and will meet in the church Chapel.
Surviving the Holidays will be November 23rd from 1-3pm. (Register for this session here: https://www.griefshare.org/events/246114)
